Cat mythology

Most of the less complex animals, invertebrates, fish, amphibians and reptiles probably world view along the lines of ' just ' and accept whatever comes along-go with the flow. But when you consider the relatively higher and more complex animals, such as birds and mammals, and the complexity of the brain then becomes his things in a greater or lesser degree, intelligence and the ability to think and figure to be taken into account.

For those of you who have companion animals, or even those who have just watched the animals at a distance, you might wonder how you view those animals and maybe think about life, the universe and everything. Each animal must have some sort of personal perception, perspective or point of view maybe forever beyond our understanding — usually but not always.

I pick on cats in this particular case because I've owned cats almost all my life. This article can just as the horses or dogs or some other domesticated mammals easily.

What are cats? Can we identify them? They can be identified with us? Okay, cats domesticated playful; odd; adaptability; selfishness; they dream; they like variety though it can be creatures of habit; they ' think ' things through and making decisions; they have vocal language and body language; they display emotions; memory, partly a sense of history; they have the same sensory organ as we have; they have their own likes and dislikes, whether food; a place to sleep, where you want or do not want to be scratched or rubbed or stroked; and, in short, every cat A very unique character. Cats are very definitely selfish, maybe a little more typical of adult humans, but certainly closer to human infants and toddlers who look very selfish with nearby 24/7 Jamie, Jamie, Jamie, I want, I want, I want. Cats, at least intersecting with people with Jimmy/want their side, such as babies/toddlers often can reach factor ' urgency ' to extremes. In short, it looks like really mini versions cats if furry humans, especially infants/toddlers. But, how close this version can really be?

For starters, probably like all animals, the cat may look something akin to being the center of things are-end-all-cat environment family finds himself in there to provide all cat. From the perspective of the domestic cat, the world owes them a living! How else can display cat stuff? One is self perceptions tend to revolve around ' I axis of the universe ' because you are most intimately into your world view yourself, not with anything else. Therefore, anything else, should be selfish. Of course the cat often finds the hard way that parts of this external reality had divergent views on. Never seems to shift the look the cat but this ' top dog ' * and deserves all the good that comes by the way-which may not be all the ' best ' that nature can offer but don't know the cat.

Cats certainly don't understand, maybe like small children, being on the road, and, at the risk of stepping on or sat on them, while helping themselves to fit any piece of fancy household geography. And one can infer from the selfish behaviour (from our perspective), this must be one of ' Supreme being ' and ' rank has its privileges, and such a look will last at least until such time as it gets stepped on the tail or it gets tossed out of the Chair is easy! Probably still see themselves as Supreme beings-is that look that you now changed somewhat.

Perhaps the head of the household, and the average owner cat kind of opinion or rationale to ' pay my bills, so I call the shots and what I say goes '! Maybe cats can understand the ' head of household ' cat society, as in all animal societies, all cats are not created equal-there is a hierarchy and one cat alone would be ' top dog ' as it was. But there's nothing in the cat that corresponds with money or bills or economics or finance. Everything's free lunch, sunlight or electric heater/gas/wood, owner, you pay for, even if the cat goes out hunting and eating a mouse, it's still as free lunch and as far as the cat is like the food that you put in a bowl of food. So that bit about ' I coach to pay the Bills ' has no meaning or significance to the cat because the concept of ' foreign ' bills.

Cats have no myths about shopping. After Christmas sales and special weekly at the supermarket are alien concepts. That strip upward to humans-time. Christmas is an event of any investigation when they occur and is not connected in any way. Ditto to all those other points in time.
